What Are DataDots:

Developed as a covert and overt asset identification system, DataDots are microdots manufactured from a polyester substrate measuring 1mm in diameter. Each microdot is laser etched multiple times, with up to 24 alphanumerical characters per line (click here to view).

Simply applied either through the patented aerosol spray system or manually painted on (click here to view), DataDots are adhered to the asset with a water based non corrosive adhesive. To assist with easy detection for trained law enforcement officers, an ultra violet (UV) trace has been added that glows under a blacklight alerting the user to its location (click here to view).

Once located, the information contained on the DataDot can then be easily read through the use of a x30 powered microscope (click here to view).

As an additional level of security, each DataDot kit contains a number of warning labels that clearly outlines that the asset has been covertly identified making it worthless to thieves.
